Meet Karen

Karen joined the Health Promotion staff as a nutritionist in 2018. In her role, she offers nutrition counseling to MSU students and supervises the MSU Peer Body Project, a program designed for undergraduate women to improve body image and challenge cultural standards of beauty. She also serves as a facilitator of MSU’s Nutrition Coalition, an alliance of MSU nutrition professionals that coordinates nutrition information, resources and services to best meet students’ nutrition needs. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the International Federation of Eating Disorder Dietitians.
